The educational evening was a great success with the hall full.
The guests were privileged to hear Dr Jonathon Rees’s presentation on the
GP’s role in PSA testing and their role in supporting men diagnosed with
Prostate Cancer. Jonathon is a GP in the Bristol Area and is also the
Clinical Advisor to Tackle, the Prostate Cancer charity.

a specialist interest in Urology and is Founder and Chair of the
Primary Care Urology Society.

Men with prostate cancer have the opportunity to talk through
all available treatment options and are provided with
comprehensive information on the risks and benefits by
members of their multi disciplinary team (MDT ) in order to
make an informed decision.
As Men with Prostate Cancer and as a Support Group we are very
fortunate to have Jonathon working tirelessly to meet our
aspirations, pre diagnosis, through treatment and then again on the
long recovery road.
